The interview was at the CVG airport Holiday Inn.  There were 3 people
from HR, and one pilot.  It lasted approximately 45min.  The pilot interviewer reviewed
my logbooks and certificates while the people from HR began asking questions.  All 3 HR people asked questions, and lastly the pilot
asked his questions.

• Scenario from an HR person:  I was jumpseating on one of our flights and witnessed the following:  CA was the pilot flying, and briefed the approach, and noted that the approach would be going through icing conditions and that the ice protection system would need to be used. When the aircraft descended into the icing conditions the FO reached up and turned on the ice protection.  The CA then condemned the FO for doing so uncommanded, and told him not to touch those switches unless directed to by him.  The CA then turned off the ice protection for several minutes before turning it back on.  What would you have done if you were the FO on that flight?
