Stage 2

• Psychometric Assessment
  • Computer based test
  • Non-refundable fee of $195
  • If successful move on to stage 3

Stage 3

• Two or three days of testing
• Simulator
  • Briefed as a group prior (approx. 45 minutes)
  • Flown with a fill-in check airman
• Panel Interview
  • Three-on one
  • Two Qantas pilots
  • One Peoples Relations (Human Resource) Representative
  • Member of Pilot Recruitment may replace HR Representative
  • Human Resource Based Questions
  • Questions focus on \"problem areas\" from psychometric assessment
• Occupational Health Assessment (OHA)
  • Non-refundable fee of $150
  • More comprehensive than Class 1 medical
• If successful move on to stage 4

Stage 4

• Dental X-Ray
• Background check
  • Criminal History
  • Politically Motivated Violence history
  • Citizenship check
  • Non-refundable fee of $104.50
• References checked
• Full Application Review
  • Written offer of employment if successful
